Food stall name: Ice-cream Waffle Stall

Introduction

This initiative would be raise funds for RJC and its constituents by selling various ice-creams waffles, cones and tubs on ORA day. This would be a feasible idea as everyone would be yearning for a reprieve after a grueling walk-a-jogathon.

We will be selling various lovely and delectable flavours that will enrich and stimulate tastebuds. We feel that this will definitely be a good way of making money and raising funds as many people will be encouraged to grab a tub!


Objectives

Our main aim would be to raise funds for charitable causes and contribute to the betterment of mankind. This is in accordance of our motto, “Auspicium Melioris Aevi” and this definitely reflects our goals and aims as true blue Rafflesians or maybe was that supposed to be true green-black-white Rafflesians?

Prices

Our prices will be able to raise money for our charitable aims, yet being able to cover and make up for our costs and at an affordable price where MSB = MSC which is the socially optimal output.



There will be 2 products –
a) Chocolate Waffle
b) Ice cream Waffle

The waffles would be priced at the socially optimum price of $2.50. We will produce ice cream to the point where the marginal cost of producing an extra ice cream outweighs the benefits of the extra single scoop that we have to produce.


Logistics and Manpower

We will have a roster to ensure a minimum of 3 people at the stall at any one time to facilitate the selling of the waffles. The freezer for the ice-creams would be provided by the company. It is
actually not necessary because we are naturally COOL people.

Hot people like YIannng NGEEHHH will be in charge of cooking the waffles. His left and right chest can be utilized at the same time to maximum effect to bake 2 waffles at once! This is called allocative efficient work! So YIannng NGEEHHH, pls be prepared to work hard 2moro!

The woMAN’s canoe team will be charge of the MANpower. Enough said. =)

Estimated costs and profits

The costs of buying the ice cream tubs will be = 10 tubs X $13.50
= $135

The pancake mix will also be needed and it will cost $30.00.

Amt of ice cream per waffle = 1.0/45.0 x 0.600 = 0.0133mol

Since 0.0133 mol of ice cream is needed per waffle, we encourage the sellers at the stall tomorrow to mug your Chapter 1 of Chemistry: Atoms, Molecules and Stoichiometry very well as customers might complain if they find less than 0.0133 mol of ice cream after back titration!
